Quantavist has deployed its AI risk monitoring system in partnership with construction giant Innovo at Ghaf Woods, marking a key advancement in the practical application of artificial intelligence in large-scale construction environments. Developed by Majid Al Futtaim, Ghaf Woods will deliver more than 7,000 apartments in a community centred on sustainability and wellbeing, with the initial phase valued at AED 1.7 billion (USD 462 million).
At this scale, Innovo is managing a complex, multi-contractor operation where conditions evolve constantly and maintaining control across all work fronts is critical. With the system now fully operational, risk is being monitored autonomously on-site for the first time – giving project and HSE teams unprecedented visibility that enables earlier intervention and consistent control across all active zones.

Early performance
The system is powered by a network of AI-controlled cameras, with analysis conducted through Quantavist's on-site infrastructure. Since activation, the platform has processed more than 300 million frames and identified dozens of critical safety risks that would typically go undetected through traditional observation methods. Each alert is tracked through to close-out, ensuring full transparency and accountability throughout the response process.
Industry impact and next steps
Historically, construction safety has relied on fragmented, manually gathered data that is often subjective and reactive. Quantavist delivers a complete and standardised view of site activity – marking a clear improvement in transparency, accountability and consistency across operations.
This deployment demonstrates that autonomous risk monitoring is no longer a future ambition but a fully operational capability, providing a real-world solution that performs reliably across complex, large-scale construction projects. Following this initial rollout, Quantavist and Innovo plan to expand coverage to additional zones within Ghaf Woods through late 2025. Each phase will strengthen the monitoring network and extend visibility across all operational areas.
